Cristi Cristich was honored at a luncheon on October 13 as the 2010 Business Leader of Integrity. The event was very educational and inspirational. The keynote speaker, Bruce Brown drew on his lifetime of athletic coaching to provide timely and relevant remarks on effective teambuilding and leadership and “The Impact of Trust”. Cristi’s fellow honorees, Dan Rogers, Todd Larsen and Guy Lemmon shared their stories from the Non Profit, Music Education and Athletics to remind us all how important integrity, trust and ethics are in all aspects of our lives. Cristek Interconnects, Inc. hosts Meg Whitman at the first MegaWomen TownHall meeting on September 16th. 300+ women jammed into a standing room only area cleared in the Cristek factor on September 16th to interact with candidate for California Governor, Meg Whitman. Cristich introduced Meg as "the real deal" – a uniquely successful business woman who will do whatever it takes to put Californians back to work.

When Cristi Cristich started Cristek Interconnects Inc. at the age of 23, her business goal was to have enough money to shop at Nordstrom and drive a fancy car. That's not exactly an attitude that promises business longevity. However, this year marks Cristek's 25th year in business.

Cristek Interconnects Inc. in Anaheim has opened a new factory in Lowell, Mass. Cristek makes electronic connectors for the defense and aerospace industries. Cristek has leased a 7,000-square-foot building and hired three people to find contracts to build that business. If business grows, the factory could employ 40 to 50 people.

Great news! Effective on ALL Micro-D shipments beginning in 2010, Cristek will be providing all Micro-D products using our recently DSCC qualified Polyphenylene Sulfide (PPS) material. After feedback from our customers requesting Cristek to qualify our Micro-D products using the thermoplastic PPS, we heard you and we have answered your requests!

Events

During the first two weeks of November, Cristek is schedule to undergo an audit that will result in the upgrade of its quality system to AS9100 Revision C

From January 30 through February 2, 2012 Cristek will undergo an audit of its Cable & Harness Anaheim area to determine its suitability to obtain NADCAP certification.
