Cristek offers a wide variety of QPL'd products in its areas of expertise. When viewing the QPL data sheets or data sheets that cross to DESC drawings, keep in mind that the government is not adding new configurations to most documents. MOTS (Military Off the Shelf Technology) products are manufactured to meet the appropriate specifications of the closest QPL product but will offer more options for surface finish, layout, termination and configuration. A designer selecting a Cristek MOTS product can have the confidence that the product would meet the electrical, environmental and mechanical performance specifications of the most similar QPL counterpart. MOTS products are manufactured with the same materials, process controls and reliability standards found in a QPL part. If you do not see a QPL product, you can be confident in selecting a MOTS product for your high reliability application.

There are certain products Cristek could manufacture with alternative materials and processes which could be classified as COTS parts. Since lead-times for MOTS products are from stock to 8 weeks, the main reason to push for a COTS version would be to save money. Cristek encourages you to first focus on a MOTS selection and let us provide you a competitive price. In most cases you should find the MOTS product to be affordable. In the event that your volumes warrant an extremely aggressive cost approach, please contact us for our recommendations for modifying this item to be a COTS product to achieve maximum cost reduction.

Space grade products are available throughout the Cristek catalog. All Micro, Nano and EMI Filter products are manufactured with materials that have excellent out gassing characteristics and perform well in a space environment. Specify your environment at time of quotation. In some cases, Cristek will need to do some elongated cure times to ensure complete space compliance. In the case of the D-Subminiature section of the catalog, a special sub section is dedicated products equivalent to application Goddard Space Flight Center specification.
